Two doulas, working for YOU when you need it most.
We work together to give you the most holistic support for your unique birth. We understand that birth is not only a physical experience, but also an emotional, mental, spiritual, and fully transformational event. Birth challenges our perceptions of ourselves, and our priorities, and creates space for an entirely new human to enter the world, and our hearts.
We offer informational guidance and emotional support; provide physical comfort measures; and hold space during the sacred ritual of birth.
In our support package we include:
- 3 prenatal visits to get to know you and your desires and hopes for birth
- 24/7 on-call support via text or email throughout your pregnancy
- Physical, emotional, spiritual, and informational support during labor and birth
- 1 postpartum visit
- Additional prenatal/postpartum visits available on request
- Discounted rates for prenatal & postpartum yoga classes, the Intuitive Birth Class, and Reiki services
About the doulas: Jasia and Lindsey are trained and knowledgeable doulas and experienced mothers. Jasia is a home-birthing mother of three, and has taken doula trainings with Dona, ProDoula, and Indiebirth. Lindsey is a home-birthing and hospital birthing mother of two, and has taken doula training with Indiebirth. She is currently apprenticing to be a midwife. They are both passionate about baby wearing, breastfeeding, and holistic parenting.
Intuitive Birth Class
A birth class for mind, body, and soul.
This unique class combines a comprehensive childbirth education along with the inner work and self-exploration that is necessary for the transition into parenthood. Half of each class is dedicated to coming together in a judgement-free space, to discuss how we can emotionally prepare for birth and parenthood, and the importance of consciously connecting with self, baby, and partner. The intention of this class is to empower each person to tap into their intuition, and take an active role in preparing for an autonomous birth.
In this class you and your partner will learn:
- How physiological birth works
- The choices and decisions to be made regarding labor, birth, and newborn care
- Various comfort and relaxation techniques
- Mindfulness techniques, appropriate for birth and parenthood
- A brief overview of postpartum care and breastfeeding
This is a 4 week class, held on Sunday afternoons 1-3:30pm. Summer Session dates are: August 15, 22, 29, and September 1. Email to RSVP your spot.
About the educator: Jasia is a home-birthing mother of three. She took her first doula training in 2013, and has been attending births ever since. She has a passion for holistic wellness and loves talking about “all things birth & baby”. She has taken a number of continuing education classes and created this birth class from a variety of techniques and trainings.
Yoga for Pregnancy & Postpartum
Weaving together ancient wisdom and modern women.
My classes are designed to help mamas prepare for birth and beyond through body, mind, and spirit. You can expect a practice focused on the breath with opportunities for meditation, pranayama, relaxation, alignment based movement, all in a sacred space to connect with other mamas. My passion for supporting women in pregnancy and postpartum came from my own motherhood journey. I hope to help mamas feel empowered to make the best decisions for their individual needs.
About the teacher: Lindsey completed her RYT200 at Hothouse Yoga in Iowa City and has since studied at Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe, NM and completed her level 1 RPYT with Hannah Muse at the Mount Madonna Institute in Santa Cruz, CA.
